Call of Duty: Ghosts Essential kit

Call of Duty: Ghosts is finally here. The question is are you fully prepared for the game?. Here at Pimp my console I have put together an Essential kit that will give you that edge when it comes to kicking ass on the latest Call of duty game, and will make your setup look sweet, so lets crack on.

Call of Duty; Ghosts Controllers 

Whether you are a serious Call of duty player or not, having a good controller is key to success in Call of Duty: Ghosts both online and off. These days they're alot of different controllers that you can buy that will drastically improve your game play, but the controller that really stands out to me most is the new SCUF Ghost Hybrid Controller.

A controller is just a controller right?. Wrong a Scuf controller is not only lighter and more comfortable to play games with, they come with upto 4 back paddles that you can configure to any buttons you like giving you that edge when it comes to reflexes. Call of Duty:Ghosts Headset

Gaming Headsets are a very important part of a serious COD players setup. The advantages you have when owning a good quality headset are well worth the money you invest in a them. A good Gaming headset will give you the ability to hear enemy's approaching from all angles, giving you the upper hand on most gamers. When playing game modes such as S&D on Call of Duty:Ghosts you will be able to hear someone planting/defusing the bomb once again drastically improving your overall game.   Squidgrips for Xbox & PlayStation

The last item on my Essential Call of Duty: Ghosts kit is Squidgrips. A question that I see alot online these days is how do I stop sweaty hands when gaming?. The answer is Squidgrips. Squidgrip are a clever grip that wraps around your controller giving you massively improved comfort and pretty much eradicates sweaty hands while gaming meaning you can have hardcore gaming session without the need to take breaks because of uncomfortable hands or sweaty hands. Pimp My Console- Ps3 Custom designed outer shells.

As gaming becomes more and more popular, people are finding the need to set themselfs apart from the rest of the gaming Community, nothing wrong with that and lets be honest it gives us something cool to look at. When the Xbox 360 was first lauched back in 2005, Microsoft gave the gamer the abilaty to remove the faceplates from the console and replace them with ones they have bought themselves. Unfortunatly this wasn't possible on the PS3, however this hasn't stops some people from creating some of the nicest custom Outer console shells I have ever seen, just feast your eyes on some of theses.

Why would anyone want a standard Gaming console, when you can get it crystallized to become the ultimate Gaming machine on the planet. Around the world people are going crazy for crystallized consoles.

For many years now people around the world have been applying different skins and accessories to there Gaming console in an attempt to stand out from the crowd. Skins for things like the PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and many more consoles,  have become more and more popular as time has gone on.

Like everything theses days, you will always get someone that take things to the next level. For some people plastic skins that simply clip on to your console simply wasn't good enough, this is how crystallized consoles were born. Check out this picture below of a Xbox 360 that has been fully crystallized by Crystalroc.

Crystalroc said they used more than 11,520 individual Swarovski crystals (That's a lot of bling) taking somewhere in the region of 70 pain staking hours to complete. The fully crystallized Xbox 360 console, was designed for the use of a PR campaign for Microsoft themselves and unfortunately will probably never go on sale. This is a trend that really has started to catch on as you can see in the next image below.

This time the fully Crystallized Xbox 360 kinect was created by a company called DsStyles, DsStyles created this work of art to sell to the general public for just a small $632, although once again unfortunately not on sale anymore.





It doesn't stop there my friends, people couldn't have the Xbox 360 robbing all the lime light. Nintendo had a custom made Nintendo Wii fully covered with over 20,000 Swarovski crystals to celebrate the release of Super Smash Brawl, The console was offered up to the winner of the Super Smash Bros regional tournament.

crystallized consoles may look the part, but my gosh do you need to part with some dollar to get hold of some of the best looking consoles on the planet. Take the Nintendo Wii in the picture below, covered in 2,500 grams of solid 22ct gold, and If that isn't good enough for you the front buttons are made from 78 x 0.25 ct Flawless diamonds which totals 19.5 ct. The appropriately named Nintendo Wii Supreme, would set you back a mere £299,995 (OMFG!!)

With all said and done have far should you go before it gets stupid, I mean once you remove the fancy diamonds or the gold cover, you are left with a standard Gaming console as it was intended to be. Can anyone really ever justify paying £299,995 for a Console that would cost you £150 tops. Although I can see the appeal, I think that crystallized consoles on the whole look rather ugly ( although I wouldn't say no if someone wanted to give me one) however with modern way society the way it is theses days and everyone trying to out do everyone else I can't see it stopping anytime soon, and can only see it getting more and more popular as time goes on.
